Rollie O. Kimbrough. Jr., MBA

Rollie O. Kimbrough, Jr. has a diverse background ranging as an information technology professional – software design and systems integration, through commercial construction and finance in capital formation. As business owner and consultant, he has successfully performed engagements in both the private and public sectors, both domestic and international. His first company Micro Computer Systems, Inc. (MCSI) preformed successfully many multi-million-dollar contracts and built an employee base, over thirty years, of hundreds of full-time highly skilled IT professionals and administrative personnel. After MCSI, he went on to build other businesses and is still active in some.

Mr. Kimbrough’s professional employment history includes firms such as Guyana Bauxite Company, Guyana, S.A., Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Computer Science Corporation, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Honeywell Corporation. Mr. Kimbrough holds an undergraduate degree in Physics/Mathematics from Youngstown State University, a graduate degree in Physics/Computer Science from George Washington University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance/Accounting from American Intercontinental University. During the Clinton Administration Mr. Kimbrough was appointed to the U.S. SBA, Region III Regulatory Fairness Board and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Information Systems Advisory Boards. He was also on the Maryland Democratic Board of Trustees, Democratic National Committee – (Business Leadership Council) and Member of the Board of the Minority Business Education and Defense Fund.

Major General Roger R. Blunt, P.E., USA Ret.

Major General Roger R. Blunt, P.E., USA Ret. is an African American Service-Disabled Veteran who retired from the US Army after a distinguished thirty-year career. He is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the US Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation, he received a commission in the US Army Corps of Engineers. He holds Master’s Degrees in Nuclear Engineering and Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is registered professionally in the District of Columbia. He also holds a Doctorate of Public Service Degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He is President and CEO of The Bluestone Group, LLC headquartered in Washington DC.

As a nuclear engineer in the Atomic Energy Program, he provided research and development oversight as well as engineering design and support for all Department of Defense land-based nuclear reactors.

General Blunt is a retired Director of the Potomac Electric Power Company and the Ameritas-Acacia Mutual Holding Company. He is a former chairman of the Board of the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges and served from 1990 to 1996 as Vice Chairman of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents. He was appointed to the Commission on Post-Secondary Accreditation and chaired the inaugural Committee on Recognition of the Council on Higher Education Accreditation. He is a former Director of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Maryland Foundation. General Blunt chairs the construction and real estate committee of Maryland’s Base Realignment and Consolidation (BRAC) – Small and Minority Business Advisory Board, was elected President of the Retired Military Officers Association in 2009 and elected to the Board of Directors of the Corporate Council on Africa in 2011.

Dr. Serge Madhere Sr.
Board Member

Dr. Serge Madhere Sr graduated magna cum laude from the University of Paris-Sorbonne (France) in 1975 with a degree in Psychology. He received a Master’s degree and then a Ph.D. in Measurement and Statistics from New York University (USA) in 1981. For over twenty years he has been at Howard University teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Research Methods and Statistics among others. In 1994, thanks to a large grant from the US Department of Education, he helped establish the Center for Research on Educating Students Placed At Risk (CRESPAR), and served for five years as co-director of its Talent Development middle school program. Dr Madhere, for a number of years, was also on the Design and Analysis Committee for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). In 1997 he was admitted as a member to the New York Academy of Sciences. In the early 2000s, Dr Madhere joined with a team at Howard Human Genome Research Center for the study of ethical, legal, and social implications of genomic discoveries, to which he brought the social-ecological perspective. This work was financially supported by the National Institutes of Health. In 2006 he set up within the Department of Psychology at Howard University the Statistical Modeling and Analysis Center. Dr Madhere has always placed a premium on inter-disciplinary research and has contributed to projects in various disciplines from education to health to economics. This has allowed him to publish extensively on a variety of topics including psychology, mathematics, and literature. For the quality of his contributions, Dr Madhere has been honored by the American Educational Research Association, the National Coalition for the Education of the Black Child (Midwest Regional Conference), and the District of Columbia Association for Curriculum Development and Supervision.

Dr. Adeola O. Molajo
Board Member

Adeola O. Molajo, Ph.D. is a statistical executive with experience in the field of applied mathematics and mathematical statistics and their public policy, health care economics, portfolio (stocks & bonds) selection, population survey design, international development and other commercial applications. His experience spans health, the environment, communication, computers, impact evaluations, and defense applications. He has managed and analyzed data from large survey, epidemiologic, and clinical trials data. These studies have included samples of up to 30,000 respondents and 100,000 case records, complex multi-stage probability sampling, and multivariate analysis.

He is an expert in experimental design, time series analysis, logistic regression analysis, sampling statistics, variance estimation, and applied statistical methods. He has developed models of large inventory systems and diverse queuing systems such as computer networks and transaction-based automated processes. He is an expert in computer-based applications of statistical models and has used SAS, SPSS, BMDP, IMSL, and many other statistical packages on various ‘platforms’ during the last twenty years.

In addition, and as part of the United Nations effort to standardize computing and statistics in overseas stations, he has served as Consultant to the World Bank in computer based statistical analysis of Census and survey data using SAS and SPSS. Dr. Molojo is a specialist in Logistic Regression Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Multivariate Statistics, Categorical Data Analysis, Sample Design & Analysis, Meta-Analysis, Exploratory Analysis, Experimental Design, Data Mining, Linear Mixed Models, Hierarchical Linear Models.
